THE DEVIL DISGUISED AS AN ANGLE OF LIGHT

Preface :

If people disguised as something , surely , that person makes himself exactly the sama as it is ! If people disguised as police officer, would has been the person to makes hilself exactly with the police , so that unknown emunerated by others that he was undercover .  It is same when the devil into an angle of light , he will makes himself exactly as the angle of light , even whatever was done by the angle of light, imitated also by th devil so that people will be fooled ! The Bible says :

"There is nothing astonishing in this ; even satan disguises himself as an angle of light ." ( 2 Corinthians 11 : 14 , New Jerusalem Bible )

 In addition, each disguise has a  goal ! Similarly disguise of the devil , has a purposes namely to dissociate people from God's grace .From the beginning the devil is intended to separate people from God, with the intention that people believe or worship him. Whether  his efforts were successful ? Yes , God allowed his efforts were successful . See the evidence in ancient time in which only the Israelites who believed and worshiped God while other nations do not !

In fact, if Gos is willing , all people can be made by Him to believe and worship Him. But He did not do it ! That is why not everyone believes and worship Him . According to the theory of free will , it is absolutely on the will of man , refused to believe or not ? ( see Jhon 8 : 24 ) . But according to the theory of the will of God , it absolutely depends on the will of God ( see Jhon 6 : 44 ) .  But here we are not talking about both theories . What we discuss is how the devil disguised as an angle of light so that people believe or worship him .

How the devil disguised as an angle of light ? 

Of course , if the devil disguised as an angle of light , all the attributes of God imitated so that people are not aware that he was believing or worshiping the devil .

(1). God teaches love , the devil also teaches love ! Because if he teaches a crime , it would appear that he is the devil. and people do not want to believe or worship him . So , a big mistakes if there are people who say that the devil teaches crime . Why so ? If the devil teaches the crime, no one want to follow him ! As an advertising always echoed goodness advertised product , as well as the devil always carries a kindness so that people want to follow him .  The devil will to rejects what the Bible says :

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us ....." ( Titus 3 : 5  King James Version Bible )

(2) God likes to give aid , the devil also likes to give aids ! The proof , many people who use charms and spells to ask for help , which is always in the name of God . when it was not ! Here man fooled because the devil is always deceptives in the name of God ! ( compare to Deuteronomy 18 : 10 - 11 )

(3). God was able to gives the blessing , the devil too ! The proof , many people obtain the blessing even  if he did not worship the true God ! ( Act. 16 : 16 ) . Even the devil was ever offered the world's wealth to Jesus  if He would worship him ( Matthew 4 : 8 - 9 )  This is the proof that the devil has power to gives the blessing .

(4) God can perform miracles and miraculous signs , as well as the devil ! The proof , many people seek healing is not from God but from the devil disguised as God !

"For there shall arise false Christ , and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders ; insomuch  that, is it were possible, they shall  deceive the very elect ." ( Matthew 24 : 24  King James Version Bible )

In short , what is being done by God , done also by the devil  so that people fooled and believe or worshiped him .  An indeed , if we look at the Bible , the Bible never records that the devil is criminal . That there is that he is the father of con ! Abosolutely correct ! He is a imposter ! He makes man fooled !

A  trick of the devil about the Christ's saving work :

Above has explained that in his disguise as an angle of light , the devil also teaches good deeds  . Yes , if he teaches crime, of course unmasked as a demon ! He should be as similar as possible to the angle of light so that people deceived by him . Therefore his agents in the world was to be disguised as a servant of truth .

" It is nothing extraordinary , then , when his servants disguise themselves as the servants  of uprightness ... " ( 2 Corinthians 11 : 15 , New Jerusalem Bible )

It is very dangerous if we are dealing with the servants of demon , who serves as his agent in the world . They masquerable as servants of righteousness , but of the mission is the mission of the devil .  Indeed in the disguise it the devil has a primary mission , namely to thward the salvation of people who believe in the Christ's saving work on the cross. There is no other way for the devil except to teaches the virtues  so people think that this teaching comes from God .  The Bible says :

" Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith ; not by anything of your own , but by a gift  from God ; not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit ."  ( Ephesians 2 : 8 - 9 New Jerusalem Bible ) .

In this case the devil tried to deflect the faith of believers so that did not believe in the Christ's saving work.  In the Bible,  bending it come from the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees . Regarding the teaching of the Torah expert , the Bible says :

"...The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat .  All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe , that observe and do ...... ( Matthew 23 : 2 - 3 KJV )

" Then understood they how that He bade them not beware of the leaven of bread , but of the doctrine of the Pharasees and of the Sadducees , " ( Matthew 16 : 12 , KJV )

Take a good look ! On the one hand Jesus said that we must obey and do what is taught by Torah expert and the Pharisees. It is clear that we must follow and we are doing is what they teach about the good deeds . But on other hand Jesus said that we must guard against their teaching .  Which teaching ?!

Regarding a good deeds in all its form their teaching about good deeds , indeed we must do it ! But remember , they do not believe to Jesus and reject Jesus as Lord and savior . They do not believe that salvation comes only through Christ !  They though and taught that salvation comes through the law of the Torah , that by doing good deeds !  Its meaning that salvation comes from human effort , not by grace !

That is why Jesus warned  us to be wary of their teaching . Is right and not wrong when they teach about good deeds and me must do it . But to be incorrect and wrong to say that salvation is obtained from good deeds !Whereas the Christian's salvation is indicative imperative , meaning that we do good deeds not to be saved , but because we have been saved !

"For ye are bought with a price ; ( indicative ) , therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, (imperative ) ,  which are God's." ( 1 Corinthians 6 : 20 King James Version Bible )

In the teaching of Torah expert here firmly attached to the devil deception to obscure the meaning of grace . Everywhere , he called  the good deeds in all its form with the promise of eternal salvation . Did he succeed ? Yes, they did it ! The proof , until now there are many people who do not believe in the Christ's saving work as the one only way to salvation .

All doctrines was born out of the trick of the devil . The goal is to shink or obscure the Christ's saving work on the cross . Why are so many people fooled ? Because of his teaching is true and good ! Teaching make sense !  His teaching are easy. to digest . If we work certainly obtain payment . If we try to definitely succeed .Similarly if we we do good deeds certainly obtain salvation . But the Bible does not teach like that !  The Bible does not use a system of meritocracy  of the world system !  The Bible talks about the grace , a free gift without effort . The Bible says :

" Ho de dikaios ek pisteos zesetai ( Anyone who is  upright through faith will live  ) Romans 1 : 17 ; Greek Modern Text - New Jerusalem Bible .


Conclusion

Do not need to go far ! Judaism teach that salvation is obtained from good deeds to obey the law of Torah . Why so ? Because they do not believe to the Lord Jesus and do not require the work of His cross. Similarly the devil always trying to eliminate Christ's saving Work . His weapon ? None other than the teaching of good deeds .

It is inevitable that every person who rejects the grace that free , always leaned his salvation on his own effort through the good deeds.  Throughout the teaching of good deeds the devil hoped that Christ's saving work vanished ! Just like the psychology of advertising where a lie is continuously voiced , then over time it will sound like a righteousness .

Do you know that our goodness not fulfil the standards of God ? Thus if our kindness was calculated to obtain salvation , really , our goodness were not worth , even just for the female mentrual cloth !

"But we are all as an unclean thing , and all our righteousness are as filthy rags ; and we all do fade as a leaf and our iniquities like the wind have taken us away ." ( Isaiah 64 : 6 King James Version Bible ) 

Therefore do not believe to the devil hoax ! Keep believing that only Christ's saving work on the cross that saved us as the sound of joint declaration following :

"Together we confess : By grace alone , in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part , we are accepted by God and received the Holy Spirit who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works . " ( Part III of the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification , between the Roman Catholic Church and Protestant that represented by Lutheran World Federation , Ausburg , October 31 , 1999 ) .

DO CHRISTIANS STILL SIN ?

Definitions of sin

According to the Bible , sin divided into two groupings, namely horizontal sin, ie sin to themselves or others  and vertical sin that sin to God ! If we sin to others , still there are God who give forgiveness to  us . But if we sin to God , who gives forgiveness to us ? .Is there anything higher than God ?

"If one man sins against another , God will judge Him. But if a man sins against the LORD , who will intercede for Him ? ... " ( 1 Samuel 2 : 25 New King James Version )

Since human falls in sin , all peole have been lost the glory of God ,and to become God's enemies ! The Bible records that the only one who could reconciles man with God only Christ . ( Romans 5 : 10 )  Then what is sin ?  The Bible answers as follows :

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law ." (1 Jhon 3 : 4  King James Version )

So its clear that sin is any violation to the law or the word of God, which consists of violation to His prohibitions and violation to His commands .  Connected to prohibitions and commands of God , what is the number of all ?  If you collect all prohibitions  and  commands of God contained in the Old Testament it turns out there are more than 600 rules ( mitsvot, Hebrew ). That number was not included these found in the New Testamanet . 

And the Bible records that humans should do everything  without exception if wants to be called innocent.  But histories have shown that no one is able to carry out all the rules . Thats why the Bible says :

"At  it is written : There is none righteous, no , not one . There is none that understandeth , there is none that seekth after  God . They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable ; there is none that doeth  good , no , not one ! " ( Romans 3 : 10 - 12 King James Version ).

When the Bible says that no one is good , does not mean that people do not do the good deeds ! Its not that ! The meaning is the good deeds that we do, not fulfil the standards of God , which does not fulfil all the rules !

Evidence that humans are not able to carry out all the rules contained in the Old Testament , namely with the victims of the morning , the evening offering , the guilt offering , the sin offering and the Day of Atonement which held every year ( yom kippur , Hebrew ) . These shown that no one can   detach himself from the bondage of sin  Even Moses, David , Salomon and others unable to innocent .  They all  failed ! You can examined in the story of the Old Testament .

Even in the New Testament, the apostle Paul claimed to have called his weakness as a " thorn in the flesh" ( 2 Corinthian 12 : 7- 8 ) . These all prove that no one able to carry out all the rules ! The disciples of Jesus was also like that . There was lack of faith at the time of casting out demons ; even Peter had denied Jesus  . So there are always its wrong !

That's why God have came down as human being, not to punish , and also not to abolish sin , but to save us from all sins  So sin is still exists , but for people who believe in Christ' saving work, their sin always been deleted by the blood of Jesus .

Do  Christians still commit sin ?

If the question is :"Do Christians still commit sin?" , the answer is :" Yes ! Still !." . Why so ? Didnt the Bible had stated that no one is righteous  ? All people had sinned and had been lost the glory of God ? Before Christ , in age of the Old Testament , no one can perform all the rules, so even now there are not Christians who can make all the rules ! There is not difference between Judaism with Christians , that they, Judaism and Christians, can not fulfil all the rules .  The difference is that people of Judaism implementing animal blood sacrifice  to obtain forgiveness , meanwhile Christians do not do that anymore . Why is like that ?  Yes , because the blood of Jesus shed for us on the cross !

That is the difference between Judaism with Christianity. Everyday we commit sin, not least through the heart or mind of the unknown man but God know . People who are not hypocrites of course agree with this fact ! Anyone who denies this fact same with denying the word of God below :

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive  ourselves and the truth is not in us . ...If we say that we have not sinned , we make Him a liar , and His word is not in us "(1 Jhon 1 : 8 and 10 KJV )

In term of the flesh we are not able to fulfil all the rules , so there is just wrong ! On one thing goes wrong , we are violating all the rules


"For whoever shall keep the whole law , and yet stumble in one point , he is guilty of all." ( James 2 : 10 New King James Version NKJV )

Don forget that Jesus didnt came to take away the sin ! Sin still exists ! But for us , Christians ,do not need to make a blood sacrifice animals anymore, because the blood of Jesus always remove our sin .

"My little children , these thing I write to you. so that you may not sin . And if anyone sins, we have and Advocate with the Father ,  Jesus Christ the righteous ." ( 1 John 2 : 1 NKJV )

The text above is a proof that Chistians still sin ! So therefore there is no human righteous, holy and perfect in all the world except God . The Bible proves that only God alone are holy,as follows :

"Who shall not fear  You, o Lord , and glorify Your name ? For You alone are holy . ... " ( Revelation 15 : 4 New  King James Version )

Because He alone are holy , that is mean that only He are righteous and perfect ! If there are people who say that everyone who was born again could not commit sin anymore , the man didnt understands Romans paragraph 7 .  Just thing please , if we were able to not sin , in the sense of being able to fulfil all the rules, mean we do not need forgiveness ! We do not need Jesus ! We do not need His blood ! Why so? Because we able to become holy ! O great ! Meaning the Bible lying when is said that only God alone are holy !?

Did you forgotten that Jesus came precisely when we were still sin ? Right now , His forgiveness continue to work because we are also and always doing sin .  The advises of the apostle Jhon and Peter, prove that Christians still commit sin.Petrus 4 : 8 ) It should not surprise us , with 4 reasons , namely :

(1).  No one able to fulfil all the rules !  Too much rules that confine us .What's the mean ? So that He may show His mercy to us ( see Romans 11 : 32 )

(2)No one who do not sin as long as his lives ! In this case we need a justification  which comes from God , not because we are righteous, but as the free gift . ( Romans 3 : 23 - 24 )

(3) We need forgiveness constantly in our lives until we die ! And that, we get all the time by the blood of Jesus that never stops erase wrong and our sins . ( see Hebrews 10 : 10 )

(4)No human is righteous,holy and petfect , solely only God alone ! So people who say that he able to fulfil all the rules with the help of the Holy Spirit , cheats himself and make God into a liar because the word of God says that only He alone are holy . ( see 1 Jhon 1 : 8 and 10)


Do  Christians still sin ?

The question of :" Do Christians still commit sin ?" is deferent with the question of :" Do Christian still sin ?" . The first question above connected to the flesh's deeds , but the second question connected to status in Spirit !  If the question is :" Do the Christians still commit sin?", the answer is :" Yes ! Still ! "( connected to the flesh's deeds ). But the question is :" Do the Christian still sin ?" , the answer is:" No ! Already not sin anymore ! ( connected to status in Spirit  )

The Christians have status in Spirit ,is not sin ! Because Christians had been justified , sanctified and perfected by the blood of Jesus , once for all ! Not because of righteousness, holiness and perfection of us, but because of the righteousness ,holiness and perfection of Christ .

"..for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God , being justified freely by His grace  through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus ." ( Romans 3 : 23 - 24  NKJV)

" But that  will we have been sanctified  through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ  once for all ." (Hebrews 10 :10 NKJV )

"For by one offering  He has perfected  forever those who are being sanctified ." ( Hebrews 10: 14 New King James Version ).

When from the cross Jesus cried out :" Eli, Eli ,lama sabakhtani ? ( MyGod , My God , why doYou have forsaken me ? ) ; at that time happened exchange occurs divine ! The presence of God left Jesus and replaced with God's wrath struck Him , meanwhile the presence of God  are moving to us along with the righteousness , holiness and perfection of Christ !  All our sins and mistakes was inflicted upon Jesus so that in the presence of our Father we are considered absolutely holy and perfect .

So in status in Spirit , we , are righteous , holy and perfect , with other words , we are not sinner anymore ! Why is like that ? Because He have ( not will ) justified , sanctified and perfected us , once for all . If there is one who says that we still sin, thats meaning that the man do not believe that Christ saving work had completed and perfect ! ( Jhon 19 : 30 ).  For if we still sin in status , thats meaning that the Christ saving work had failed ! Watch please the Bible text below :

"For He made Him who knew no sin , to be sin for us , that we might become  the righteousness of God  in Him ." ( 2 Corinthians 5 : 21 New King James Version )

Jesus didnt knew sin ! But God made Him to be sin  for us ! Its meaning that all our sins in along our lives, our sins throughout our lives , until we later die, has been borne by Christ on the cross . If our sins at a lifetime was paid by the blood of Jesus , its true to say that Christians are no  longer sin , its status in the Spirit of Christ .



Conclusion :

We must able to distinguish our position from the prespective of the deeds of the flesh with the prepective of our status in Christ's Spirit. From the prespective of the flesh's deeds , Christian still commiting sin, but from the prespective of status in Christ' Spirit , Christians have not sinned anymore . Why ? Because every time the blood of Jesus always remove our mistakes and sins. Yes , any time ! Until we die !

"Whoever  abides in Him does not sin . Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him ." ( 1 Jhon 3 : 6 New King James Version )

The text above connected to people's status , not speak about the flesh's deeds .! Whoever abides in Christ does not sin anymore , although in his flesh's deed  he still commits sin .Otherwise any person is not in Christ considered always  lives in sin regardless of his good deeds . For Christian salvation not depends to good deeds , but solely to the saving work of Christ . You must always remember that we must do the good deeds but not to be saved , but because we have been saved !  In fact , the sin unto death is sin not want to accept Christ as Lord and Savior .

So that our position always been at the truth of Jesus Christ . That is our status in Christ's Spirit !. We are not sinners anymore. We are righteous man now ! Until we die ! We do not conscience of sin anymore , but the truth that we are innocent . 

Do you want to appreciate the Christ's saving work ? My message , do not involve human effort on Christ's saving work . It was insulting Him and risk heavy ( see Hebrews 10 : 29 ) . THE JOINT DECLARATION ON THE DOCTRINE OF JUSTIFICATION ( JDDJ )

Preface

A good news is voiced through a joint declaration between the Roman Catholic Church with  the Protestan main-stream Church which was represented by the LWF ( Lutheran World Federation )  Regarding this joint declaration , had been written in Indonesian on my blog : solafide-solagracia.blogspot. com ,  some time ago . But after walking for so long , I observed that the joint declaration was not yet widely known by Christians, both the Catholic Church and the Protestan Church .

So in this occasion, I picked it up again in the English edition . It is indeed a very happy thing that we found the body of Christ which for nearly 500 years apart , now back into one .  The birth of the joint declaration was inseparable from the role of Pope Jhon Paul II , so that in October 31 , 1999 , the joint declaration was signed in Ausburg Germany . The joint declaration is called The Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (JDDJ ) . The third part of the joint declaration reads :

"Together we confess : By grace alone , in faith in Christ's saving work , and not because of any merit on our part , we are accepted by God and received the Holy Spirit who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works ." 

If we look at the word for word , the phrase" By grace alone , in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part , we are accepted by God ."  the joint declaration stated that the church has recognized jointly that our salvation is only by grace of Christ alone and not by other causes . This is very important part, because the matter of faith  to Christ's saving work  had made the church was divided for nearly 500 years.

Whereas since the begining  the Bible had said that justification was divided from faith in Christ's saving work where we are justified by God's grace ( Romans 3 : 24 )

The brief history :

In 1517 AD , happened a dispute between Pope Leo X that time , with Martin Luther , a professor of theology was very obedient to the Catholic Church .  He also became  head of several monasteries accredited pastor . By one thing  and another Pope Leo X entered  into a sales  letter abolition of the punishment (indulgence)  that was protested by Luther .  In October 31 , 1517 , Luther gluing his 95 theses  on the door of Church in Wittenberg  so that read by public .

Then there was  a difference of views between Luther and Pope Leo X . Luther insisted found that our justification  is solely because of our faith  in the saving work of Christ . But at that time , Pope Leo X had a different view, so that human effort was accounted  for salvation it . In 1520 AD Luther wrote a book " On the freedom of a Christian Man " , where he insisted that the Christian salvation only is obtained by grace alone , in faith to Christ saving work .In that book Luther explained the position of justification and good deeds .  Pope Leo X ordered  so that Luther revoked his teaching but Luther refused ! Because the Bible says that  the salvation is obtained is not from human effort , but by grace alone .

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves ; is it the gift of God , Not of works , lest any man should boast ." ( Ephesians 2 : 8 - 9 King James Version )

The  dispute dragged on so as to make Europe was divided into two , partly followed Luther and partly following Pope . Meanwhile , Luther died  in 1546  at the age 62 years .Despite the peace of  the church in Ausburg in 1955 which recognized the existence of reform church , but more than 40 years since 1517, ,Europe  was hit by a commotion as a result of this dispute .   Short story , the council of Trent  in 1563 did not bring the result, so a definitip church split into the Roman Catholic Church and the Protestant Church . Meanwhile Pope sake Pope alternately  occupied the throne of Vatican .

Then around 1960 the two sides began a long approach to the problem, namely the problem of justification is echoed by Luther before .  The theologians of both parties learn the doctrine of justification and more intensively where Pope Jhon Paul II  came to the throne of the Vatican in 1978 . Finally, after a long process, the joint declaration on the justification was signed at the time of Pope Jhon Paul II , namely on 31 October 1999,  the same date as the date when Luther gluing his 95 theses in the door of church in Wittenberg before ( 31 October 1517 ) .


The truth of doctrine :

Prior to the joint declaration on justification , the public know  that the justification in the teachings of Catholic Church is based on deeds of love in addition to the work of the cross of Christ . But now, after the signing of the declaration, I red from a Catholic posting stating that Christian salvation is indicative imperative .  This means that we  do good not to be saved but because we have been saved. .

It was indeed in line with the joint declaration stating that by grace alone in faith to Christ's saving work and not by the actions of goodness in life, we are accepted by God. This is the essence of Christian belief ! All the stuff that fairy set behavior , holiness , perfection, truth , love and as so just load  only and not the point ! Because if the essence of Christianity  is human actions rather than acts of God , what difference Christianity with others ? Are not other religions also teach that way , that the good deeds will be taken into account by God to obtain heaven ?

In the Bible there are two types of messages that essence of message and load message ! The essence of Christian message aboslute lies in the fact of death and resurrection of Christ . Without the death and resurrection of Christ , there will never be such thing as  Christianity . Because  Christianity was born from the fact that Jesus died and rose !  So it should be understood that Christianity born not by the teachings of Jesus but from the work of His cross .  Must be distinguished between His teachings  with His saving work .

We are no saved from His teachings but from His saving work .  Meanwhile the load of Christian message , lies in the ethical, moral and Christian way of life  is good , which is leaned on the teachings of Jesus .  So the apparent difference between the two ! The essence of Christian message  lies in the Christ's saving work on the cross and the load of Christian message  lies in what Christ taught , regarding life in the world .

Although many churches that promotes the load of Christian message with a focus on a healthy lifestyle such as maintaining holiness , truth , perfection , love and everything that is good deeds , there remains the Christian salvation in fact saving work of Christ and can not be replace by human effort !  Because if our salvation depends on our efforts , that is not grace ! Grace is something that we have received for free without cultivated !

"For ye are bought with a price ; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit , which are God's ." ( 1 Corinthians 6 : 20 King James Version )

Jesus Christ had purchased us with His blood ,in cash , paid off ! ( this is essence of message and indicative ) .Therefore , we must do good deeds , to glorify God , as an expression of our grateful  (this is load message and imperative ) So we do good deeds is not to be bought , but because we had been purchased and belong to Christ .

That is the difference between Christianity with other religions in the world . Other relogions are required to do good in the hope of salvation . But Christianity teachs that we must do good because we have been saved !  However , Christianity is not just a religion but " accept what Jesus did on the cross " ! Out of this provision , it is not Christianity !

Now, connected to good deeds , the joint declaration agreed that good works follow justification as the fruit of the justification. It was stated in Section 4.7 No. 37  of the Preamble of the JDDJ ( Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification) .  It reads as follows :

" We confess together that good works - a Christian life live in faith , hope and love - follow justification and are its fruits . When the justification live in Christ  and act in the grace they receive, they bring forth , in biblical terms , good fruit. Since Christians struggle against sin their entire lives , this consequence of justification is also for them an obligation they must fulfil . Thus both Jesus and  the apostolic Scriptures admonish Christians to bring forth the work of love ."

After reading what is written above we must not replace Christian Salavation are indicative imperative becomes imperative indicative !  Why ? For the good deeds are  the fruit of justification and not the nature of justification itself !

 
Conclusion :

We are grateful for the two largest church denomination in the world have been integrated ! That means that the body of Christ should be the one back in the future before His coming for the second time . The matter that has always been a problem is a matter of salvation .  You should know that the way of life to do good deeds  it has become a commodity for all human being, regardless of religious viewpoint !  Even people who have no religion also do good because human nature is living in a society in the midst of other human being.

So the church should focus on specific things , namely the problem of Christianity salvation that does not exist in other places besides just on Christianity alone , namely that " we are saved by faith in the Christ's saving work   and we are called to do good deeds useful for others."  Not wrong that we always teach kindness, but you should know that the teachings was only build characters !

What we need is the depelopment of the Christian faith, so that we understand that only grace alone that saves us !  The depelopment of faith is important  because without the depelopment of faith ,  a Christian is easy to abandon his belief to Jesus . The emphasis on grace is very important for if not , easily the Christians would come out of his faith , because they thought that salvation is obtained from doing good that is also taught by other religions . However specific statements such as biblical text below does not exist in other religions :

" For all have sined, and come short of the glory of God ; Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption  that is in  Christ Jesus ." ( Romans 3 : 23 - 24 King James Version ).

However we are very grateful for the birth of this joint declaration between the Roman Catholic Church with Protestant Church , has opened a new chapter that in the future the body of Christ will be integrated ! We are all people who are very happy because we get promise of God that through the saving work of Christ ,we have ( not will) been saved !  Lord Jesus Christ bless us forever .  Greeting from the sea !
